You guys! I am not really a nostalgic person but if there is one memory that my sisters and I always reminisce about, it would be our weekly Saturday morning trips to The Crazy Store with my dad. We would each walk in with a R50 and leave with a bag of goodies and show each other what we got on the drive home, with the The Spice Girls blasting in the background. What a long way the store has come and still remains one of my favourite stores that I visit regularly when in the mall. On Friday, the darlings over at The Crazy Store invited me to come and enjoy an array of yummies at the Blue Route Mall store and celebrate their first ever Crazy Carnival. Of course I was super keen to join because let’s face it… who doesn’t love The Crazy Store? We had a morning of fun that consisted of jugglers, magicians, clowns and getting to fish for prizes in an inflatable pool. Oh how much fun was had – being a kid again!

I took a stroll through the store and made some mental wishlists of all the goodies that I wanted. Also, Bloggers – it is picture props heaven in there. All the pretty faux plants and little trinkets to make your pictures look stunning… there are some amazing finds.

Being the cat mom that I am, freaked out just a little bit when I saw all of the cool goodies for my babies. If you pop into The Crazy Store, you’re bound to find something that you like-need-want-must.have and to top it off, The Crazy Carnival promotion will run from the 25th February – 24th March. You’ll find some awesome goodies for the whole fam! From toys for the little ones, to funky stickers and books for your tweens, to braai accessories for the man in your life (husband, father, brother, boyfriend…), beauty products as a pretty gift to someone (or yourself) and many other gems at affordable prices. “In April 2014, The Crazy Store partnered with The Friends of the Children’s Hospital Association (FOCHA) – which is the fundraising arm of The Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital in Cape Town – to help raise funds in our stores for this worthy organisation.” So everytime you purchase one of The Crazy Store’s little mascot ducks -customers will be donating 10% of the selling price (ex VAT) to The Friends of the Children’s Hospital Association (FOCHA). If that is not enough, there will also be popcorn machines at selected Crazy Stores and a rad competition whereby customers can stand a chance to win 1 of 50 R1000 Crazy Store vouchers when they spend R50 or more at the Crazy Carnival.
