Back in November last year, I received this awesome press pack that consisted of the Dentyl Dual Action mouthwash and a stunning Turkish towel. I couldn’t wait to sink my teeth into it… see what I did there? I planned this review in December already but my family and I finished both bottles and I had to repurchase it. It is safe to say that these Dentyl Dual Action mouthwashes are now on my new recommended list to anybody asking.Right off the bat, these are the most beautiful mouthwashes that I have ever seen. They are two toned and you have to give it a vigorous shake in order to activate the product. Also, it looks like the mouthwash has glitter in them – I live for a little bit of sparkle in my life!
The two variants that I received is the ‘fresh clove’ and the ‘smooth mint’. These mouthwashes are alcohol free and I love that about it as doesn’t hit your wind out or leave your mouth feeling bitter and dry like most mouthwashes. According to the description of this product – it consists of two phases. Phase one fights plaque and phase two freshens breath. I put that theory to the test and this is what I came up with…In phase one: it claims to remove oral germs and helps lift plaque off teeth and gums. With most mouthwashes you can’t physically see a noticeable difference to your teeth or when using the product. With this product however, you can. AND I am not “reaching” because this product was sent to me. When you gargle and spit this product in the sink, you can actually see the aftermath of the plaque that was removed from your teeth and gums, in the sink.
In phase two: You are left with long lasting breath freshness that won’t sting your gums or leave your mouth stinging or feeling dry. This is perfect for individuals with sensitive gums. Instead of having a mouthwash that has a high alcohol content, this mouthwash is enriched with natural essential oils. After using this product, my teeth feels super smooth and clean. The Dentyl Dual Action mouthwash currently retails for R82.95 (500ml) at all of your major retail outlets such as Pick n Pay, Checkers, Clicks and Dischem. You might question the price as it is a bit on the more higher end spectrum for a mouthwash but it is worth every scent and you only require half a cap at a time. My family and I (four people) used a bottle for a little over a month and that makes it worth it to me. Out of the two variants, the fresh clove is my favourite.
Great post, thanks Tasneem! 🙂
