If you’ve been reading the blog all week then you can clearly tell that I am so hyped about spring/summer. I definitely am finding my feet again after 3 trying months and I am in such a good space right now… you know what they say – Spring is the month of rebirth. With that being said, I don’t know when is the last time that  I have blogged everyday for an entire week. It’s been a hot minute since I did a Fashion Friday post and Friday signifying the end of the week also boasts as a day of reflection for me. A reflection of what I achieved for the week. Nonetheless, keep an eye out on the blog in the next few weeks as I have a lot of products that will be making it onto the blog along with some brand collaborations.

On the blog today I will be discussing the shoe of the season that is not only for the fashion forward females of the world but can be rocked by gents as well, you might have gathered that I am talking about the Espadrille. I have been a fan of the espadrille for as long as I can remember. Even before the espadrille hit stores these past few months, they were dubbed my “driving shoes” when I just started driving and I loved wearing them to campus. They really are the most effortless shoes to wear. When I focus on one fashion trend that is making waves both locally and internationally, it always makes my job so much more easier when I am sourcing pictures and finding that there’s so many different variations of the trend. I am pretty sure that there’s a pair out there that would without a doubt tickle your fancy. When I do my Fashion Friday’s I love choosing from higher end to average and budget friendly items so that everyone can have a piece of the trendy pie.

My favourite pairs would have to be the Superga’s that can be found on Zando, as well as the tan Mimco pair from Woolworths and the tassel pair from Superbalist. Trying to pull off a trend can be quite tricky but I have my usual celebrity inspiration to give you an idea of how you can put an outfit together rocking your espadrilles. It seems like the iconic Chanel espadrilles are a firm fave amongst the celebs and while I don’t foresee me owning a pair of those in the near future, a girl can dream. Right?
