A few weeks ago I blogged about a nifty service that I discovered called GlassesShop. If you want to read that post, just click here. To give you a quick little run down about what the service is all about – GlassesShop.com sells prescription eyeglasses and sunglasses for men, women and children. There are over 100 trendy frames to choose from and the prices are quite easy on the pocket. I have been MIA off from the blog for the past two weeks because between work and my studies I just didn’t have the time to post and shoot content and I have to say that I have been using my eyeglasses religiously in that time period. As promised I told you darlings that I will be telling you about the quality of my eyeglasses so that you can decide if it’s worth your moola. The glasses that I chose is the Oversized Cateye High Pointed Eyewear – Vintage Inspired in the shade red. In this particular style there are 4 shades (black, tortoise, blue and red). I chose this frame because I knew it was bigger and I’d like to think that it suits my face^^’
If you like a more heavier frame/eye glasses then I don’t think that you would particularly like this pair as it is very lightweight. I personally prefer a lightweight pair of eyeglasses as I am very clumsy at times and drop my glasses often and having a lighter weight pair of eyeglasses makes it less prone to breaking. Over the past few months I have switched to wearing my scarf in a turban more often than usual and I find that having a bigger frame works best for me. Anyone that wears a scarf in this style would tell you that it is at times torturous having a scarf on and wearing glasses but with this frame it is quite flexible I always always always get quite a few compliments when I wear my eyeglasses and it seems that the detailing is a firm favourite. If you want to know more indepthly how to order your prescription eyeglasses and sunglasses then definitely read my previous post. As I mentioned before, my pair retailed for under R300(with the coupon code that the people at GlassesShop.com provided for my readers.
This is not a sponsored post, it is in collaboration with GlassesShop and in no way shadows my opinion on the product.
