Life Lately…
I always knew that my 3rd year at varsity would be hectic but I never anticipated that it would be THIS hectic. I have so many posts drafted and am even still behind with my travel posts since January. After my trip to the UAE I went straight into varsity and so my life got consumed with assignments and exams. What’s a social life even? I could’ve, would’ve and wanted to blog but I’d rather give you quality over quantity and I’m definitely not a picture plus a few words type of blogger. I’m slowly but surely finding my feet and will get shooting product shots for the posts stock piling in my drafts folder.
So this is what’s been happening in my life lately:
♥I’ve been… Swallowed by textbooks. My days are spent in study cubicles at campus filling my brain with textile terms.
♥This is… The best thing I’ve seen on the internet all week. If you want NEED more Man-crush shots? Just click here. You’ll Thank me later.
♥Yesterday… I renewed my blog domain. Can you believe that this little blog has been on the internet for four years this year? Thank you brands for collaborating with me, Thank You new and old readers that stuck with me through all of my “no blogging” phases and Thank You to those that always comes back and even motivates me to continue blogging.
♥At the moment… I’m not spending any moola on beauty products but rather staple winter items. These are my current fave purchases.
♥I believe… “I am self-propelled; fueled from within. I appreciate people’s opinions, but I’m not attached to them. I learned a long time ago that if I give them the power to feed me, I also give them the power to starve me.”
♥I know... Cape Town has many hidden gems and The Scratch Patch in the V & A is one of my faves. I will do a full post on it next week but these are my beautiful stones that Ill use in a DIY soon.
♥I miss… Summer. We’re lucky to have those odd days of sunshine but winter and I just don’t seem to get along. Sometimes I miss the Middle East’s version of winter.
♥I’m currently… Trying to make time to make my own clothes (It looks a bit weird on the mannequin because its custom made to my size and the mannequin is stretching it in some A LOT of places… Cough cough boobs, arms and hips. I’m tired of paying big money for winter dresses that I can design and sew myself.
♥I can’t believe… Its almost Ramadan ﺭﻣﻀﺎﻥ. It feels like just the other day that we were preparing for the holy month in 2014. It still remains my favourite time of the year.
And a huge huge huge Thank You with some virtual hugs for reading today. I have 3 posts scheduled for next week!
