Fashion Friday: Statement Necklaces

Its been way too long since I did a Fashion Friday post and its long overdue. Fashion Friday seems to be slipping away from under my radar everytime and then the blog ends up looking like a beauty blog. So today I’m back with another installment of FF with a twist as to how I usually do it. This trend has been out since forever but it seems everybody’s forgetting about it since the pineapple craze hit the fashion forefront.

Today I’m talking statement neck pieces. I’m a huge fan of statement necklaces and how it takes your outfit from looking plain and boring to fash forward. There’s those days where I’m not always in the mood for the overly bold statement necklaces but still want to rock it, so I go for a smaller one. I’ve been browsing the net to bring you darlings a variety of statement necklaces and I’m actually quite chuffed to see how affordable they are so there’s definitely no reason why you should look drab this summer. There are more pricier ones on the market for those that wants to fork out an extra lil somethin’ somethin’ like the piece from fashionhub.co.za but the others listed below are relatively affordable if you ask me.Statement Necklaces

Now to come to the part that never features in my FF posts, I’m going to share my fave statement neck pieces with you. All of them are either under R100 or a little of over R100/ and or gifts from friends. I’ve worn my necklaces with just about everything from formal to casual, they are just that versatile! I definitely see them as investment pieces in my jewellery collection.

By now you know the drill, I end off my FF posts with some celeb fash inspiration. I’m head over heels in love with Shay Mitchell’s statement neck piece. Its all sorts of amazing if you ask me. And that’s a wrap! Don’t forget about this trend, you can always come up with something like a pineapple statement necklace, No? I’m keeping it short and sweet this week. Happy Friday lovies.
