The last time I did a monthly favourites post on my blog would have to be ±2 years ago. So I thought why not share my June winter lifesavers with you and shine some light on a few products that may or may not end up on the blog. Seeing that this is a fashion, beauty and lifestyle blog, I thought ‘why not divide it into 2 posts’. This one will feature all my favourite beauty products and the other will feature all my favourite fashion items that I’ve been loving. Maybe Ill do a lifstyle post too.
Avon Lipstick – Deep Orchid
This is by far the darkest shade of lipstick that I own. I have to say that I’m really starting to love Avon again. When this lipstick wears off, it looks like a light purple shade and it ends up looking like a balm stain. The staying power of this lippie is incredible. Its very creamy in texture and its quite moisturizing seeing that its a matte lippie. Would I repurchase it again? Absolutely! Ill maybe do an in-depth review with swatches on this sometime next week.
Balm Balm – Little Miracle Rosehip Serum.
This have been on my winter favourites list since I started my blog. This is definitely my holy grail of face products. When all else fails, I run for this baby. This is a MUST in my beauty routine every winter, read my full in-depth review on it over here and also more about some other great products fro Balm Balm. Its great for people with sensitive skin like me. I’m in love with this products scent.
Pantene Pro-V : Colour Brilliance Serum
As you know in winter one’s hair becomes more brittle and dry and I need to use products that protects my hair from the harsh winter conditions. I’ve recently started using this product along with the entire Colour Brilliance range that I was sent and I’m love love loving it. I’m a heat styling person so every bit of protection that I can get for my hair is a MUST.
Front Cover – Colours of the Cat Walk.
I got this amazing beauty book from Desle. She brought it back from her trip to Qatar. I have to say that its probs the best book that I’ve ever received. As a beauty blogger, I can only do the basics of makeup and this book is my saving grace! It gives you the “how to” on makeup looks. This amazing little book deserves a post on its own.
Victoria’s Secret – “Such A Flirt” Hand and Body Cream.
This amazing hand and body cream is also a gift from Desle. I’ve dubbed her the queen of lotions when it comes to my fave lotions ever used. Ill do a review on this too in the next few days so keep an eye out for it! I wish you could smell how amazing this scent is of this hand and body cream.
Love the Avon lipstick color!and the front cover beauty book sounds amazing, wish it was available in SA.
I promise you’ll love it and it was so affordable. The beauty book is one of the best goodies that I’ve ever received! Keep a lookout for the full reviews coming soon. 🙂
Oooh, I want to get that Pantene Serum! Nice post 🙂
Thank You Kylie, I think you’ll love it. I put some on before and after styling. Its great for taming that ‘fly-aways’ too. The scent of it is AMAZING! Thank you for reading.
