The heartbeat of this blog is Cape Town and seeing that I celebrated my birthday last week, I decided that the best way to do so in on Cape Town’s red bus. Now I’m quite the regular on the bus. I’ve been on all the tours and the canal cruise.
Sunday I decided that I needed some reuniting with our beloved City Sightseeing tour and celebrated my belated birthday with my friends on the bus. Usually when I go on the red bus I kick off my day super early because there’s never enough time to fit in all the things that I want to do and see.
All my friends knows that I’ve got this weird fear of birds but I really wanted to go to World Of Birds because everybody I know that have been there before mentions how amazing it is. So I put my “Big Girl Panties” on and hopped off at stop number 21. I have to say that its one of the most wonderful experiences that I’ve ever had. Every nature loving Capetonian should experience it.
My encounter with 3 000 birds and small animals of 400 different species even made me want to go back. I do recommend you wear comfortable shoes when going on there because there’s lots to see which requires a lot of walking.
After 3 hours at World Of Birds we hoped off at Mariner’s Wharf for lunch and to watch the seals. But enough with my rambling, check part two of my City Sightseeing Birthday post. Next up is the Night Sunset Tour to Signal Hill.
Who’s hopping on with me?
love it!
