When life(Read: My sister) hands me a good lipstick, I blog about it! The lipstick that Ill be raving about today is the Rimmel: Lasting Finish by Kate Moss. Now this is by far the lightest shade of lipstick that I own so it really took me out of my lipstick comfort zone. The ones that I own are either deep reds or hot pinks.

Kate Moss’s lipsticks aren’t exactly new on the market but it is new in my collection so I thought I’d share my thoughts on it. I’d love to get my hands on more of these lipsticks. Its extremely moisturising on the lips and very pigmented. Throughout the day when it fades, it appears like a balm stain which makes the longevity of the lipstick SUPERB!

My description of the scent of the lipstick won’t do it justice. Its somewhat of a coconut, strawberry ice-cream and vanilla scent. This lipstick is very buildable. Its a nice balance between a dirty pink and a coral shade. When worn, the lipstick has a slight gloss finish to it and that’s one of the things that I love about it. The lightweight packaging of the tube with Kate Moss’s signature on the cap adds a nice little personal touch to it.

This really motivated me to try more lighter shades this summer and its definitely a great addition to my makeup bag. There are 7 colours in the Lasting Finish range and I without a doubt want all of them.

One of the main reasons why I adore this product so much is because it doesn’t leave my lips feeling dry, wrinkly or flakey after a few hours which is something very common when using lipsticks.
