Another not so new product on the market that’s taken the beauty, blogging and youtube world by storm is definitely BB Creams!
For those who don’t know what BB creams are, its a Blemish Balm that acts as a foundation, primer, tinted moisturiser , concealer and the best part is… It has SPF 15 in it. At the moment Garnier’s BB creams are the most affordable on the market.
This is one of the products that I got in my Garnier Pure Active range. I’ve been using this religiously since I got it. I’ve never used foundation before mainly because it made my face look dirty. This might be due to the brand I was using or that it didn’t match my complexion. So I thought that I’d give BB cream a go.
I firstly prep my face with a moisturiser then apply my BB Cream with my fingertips because I prefer blending it with my fingers as it works better than a brush. I love this product on days when I’m in a hurry and don’t have time for an entire “makeup’ed” face.
Garnier’s BB cream only comes in 3 shades namely Light, Medium and Dark. The light was too light for my skin tone and the medium was too dark so using my second brain I decided to mix the two and came up with the perfect shade!
I do however have a few negatives about it :
✗ Its a tad bit too oily so I have to use my Clarins Shine Stopper Powder over it to give me more of a natural look.
✗ It doesn’t offer much coverage so I’m still on the hunt for the perfect product to solve that.
✗ If you’ve got super sensitive skin then this will definitely cause an irritation on your face.
• All in all, I will definitely purchase this product again as I’ve come to learn how to use it and work best for me. I’ve read mixed reviews about Garnier’s BB cream but I think that it varies from skin type. I however do feel that I’d be able to use it and I can’t really compare it to any other brand.
I’ve still yet to try a BB cream, but when I do I am sure it will be a smashbox one. my skin doesn’t cope with oil well, I’d probably become a walking talking breakout… and I’d rather not be one of those. haha
gorgeous review darling!

The face is most exposed part of the body, vulnerable
to the harsh rays of the sun. Those who have normal skin are quite lucky as neither it is
too oily nor it is too dry. Have some lemon with your water for a vitamin C boost to keep skin clear.
