{Review} Aura Cosmetics

A little while back I got this prezzie from one of my fav bloggers and I haven’t tried it out yet but now that its warmer days and I’m playing around with my makeup, I thought why not try it out.

Aura is Queenspark‘s own makeup brand that sells affordable and quality makeup ranging from Mascara to lipgloss to eyeshadow and even liquid liner. What I love mostly about this brand is the fact that they anti animal testing and also all their products are long lasting yet easy on the pocket.

Aura XXL Lash Mascara

The first thing that I tried out was the mascara which is not the normal black but rather brown. I was bit skeptical to use it because of the colour and because I felt that its a bit thick and it would clump but this little beauty is my new fav mascara. This shade is called “Chocolate” and you can barely tell the difference when its on your lashes. This is the first mascara that I’ve used that smells so yummy. It retails for R39.95 at Queenspark stores.

Aura Brilliance Gloss Sheer Color – Bronze Deluxe
In all honesty I did not like this gloss at all when applied. Its very sticky and thick and the smell reminds me of lemon airfreshner. I did however like it when applied over 2 coats of my fav red lipstick. It also retails for R39.95

Aura Quad Eyeshadow – Stargaze
This palette is definitely going to be one of my summer favs. Its very pigmented so it’ll last long. It applies easily and gives great coverage. You can achieve many looks with it so its very affordable for R49.95. I love that it has a shimmer effect but not too much that it shines and rubs off.

Aura Powder Blusher – Bronze Deluxe
At first I had no idea how to use this blush and I had to scout youtube for a few tutorials. This blush blends amazingly and lasts all day! Its a very subtle colour and can also be used to highlight your face. It doesn’t give your face a “fake” look but rather compliments my skin tone really well. This is only R49.95.

Aura – Liquid Eye Liner

The liquid liner is the only product out of the bunch that I didn’t use and probably will giveaway because liquid liner freaks me out isn’t really something I use, I’m more of a eye-pencil girl. The liquid liner also retails for R39.95.
