The marvelous wonders of a Spa-valous candle

If you’re a regular City Girl Vibe reader, you’d be well aware of my love for Tip Top nail polishes as its the only brand of nail polish that I use and come to love, but today Ill be telling you about Tip Top Nails sister brand called Spa-valous.

I’m a huge candle person , especially huge scented ones and when I found out about Spa-valous I just knew that I had to try it! The oh so generous ladies over at Spa-valous sent me some candles and this is indeed one of my most loved winter essentials.

What is a Spa-Valous body massage candle?
Spa-Valous massage candles are multi functional eco friendly soy candles that not only lights the room, fills the air with heavenly fragrance, sets the tone for a romantic setting or relaxed atmosphere but also a spa quality massage oil/body balm that produces as the candle burns.

There are 3 different types of Spa-Valous candles :
• Colour Therapy Massage Candles which relate to the Chakra system of the body.
•Eco friendly flameless baby massage candles.
•Non-fragranced candles for pregnant moms.

There’s a whole list of befits that comes with these candles which gives you value for your money and its guaranteed to burn 50% longer than your average paraffin candle. Those areas on your body that needs some extra loving, this is the perfect solution! Sunburns, cuts, insect bites like mosquito bites, cracked heels that requires extra soothing and moisturising are all things from the past.

The Spa-Valous massage candle also makes for great gifts to expecting moms/babyshowers which comes in the Blue and Pink box and also the non fragrant ones which is perfect to use on moms to be.

I can’t rave about this candle enough, definitely one of my winter essentials. For more info on Spa-valous massage candles visit their website on http://www.tiptopnails.co.za

Tip Top Nails – For the love of it

As you’ve seen in previous posts here and here, nail art has really become apart of my outfit and is like my own little fashion accessory. My designs are far from perfect and clean like I wish it would be but I have so much fun playing around with all my colours which makes it totally worth while.

My sisters and I have been using a lot my polishes lately and playing around with it, it surprises me that I’ve still got so much in my bottles… [Must Be a Tip Top thing] #LoveTheBrand

I really do count the days in which my first nail chips and this week I lasted 7 days which is pretty darn long if you ask me as I recently tried another brand and it chipped the exact same day and ended up being a huge waste of my money.

I have no idea what I’m doing when it comes to nail art but this is what I came up with. Last week I tried some “warm” colours but kept it quite cheerful with a mix of colours and I came up with this design. I used Hot wired, Pink lady, Twilight, Chiffon squares and Toughen up top coat.

This week I’m sporting a fashionable french manicure. Metallics are so in right now so I thought I would give it a go using Chiffon Squares, Flute Shoot and Toughen up top coat.

If you know of any easy nail art designs, just pop me a comment and Ill try it out.
Have a Tip Top week vibers!

Tip Top Nails – Tricks & Touches

Lately I’ve been really obsessed with nail art and the whole process of doing my own nails. I’ve started playing around with my Tip Top Nail polishes since my last post.

In time my designs will get more complicated and much more “cleaner”. I love trying new designs but the rather complicated designs Ill tackle at a later stage with a little help from the Tip Top Nails Facebook page, I’m more than confident Ill be able to pull it off. I’m always browsing the web and Pinterest looking at nail art but last week I came up with my own design.

So I’ve been rocking 3 different styles for 3 weeks [Yes! you best believe it! It lasts for 7 days WITHOUT chipping].

At the moment it feels as if winter came early in Cape Town and I just had to go for a warm colour but yet keep it on the cheery side of things and added my own bit of sparkle. As my base coat I went with Tip Top Nails – Hot Wired (which is stunning right?!) And to add a little bit of my own personality, I chose Tip Top Nails- Purple Haze to give it that extra spunk!

As week two, I came up with a different pattern… My creative light bulb lit up. For my base coat I used Tip Top Nails-Complete Chaos, the pattern above it is with Tip Top Nails – Pink Lady and the dots ontop of it is with Tip Top Nails -Twilight.

My third week, the weather had lots of influence on my choice of nail polish. Seeing that its moving closer to the “greyer” side of things… I chose a colour which is so “in” right now and added something totally random to it such as numbers ontop of it. I used Tip Top Nails- Chiffon Squares as my base coat, then put the numbers on and later Tip Top Nails – Toughen Up Top Coat.

Hmmm all this Tip Top loving coming from somebody that didn’t like nail polish? I definitely changed that once I started messing around with my colours and tried nail marbling. My life is now colourful thanks to Tip Top.

Everyday is now a Tip-Top-Day!

My makeup bag beauties

Last night I was bored and thought that I really need to get back to blogging. While lazing around I flipped through old magazines and came across Hlubi Mboya sharing her “in my make-up bag” with YOU Magazine.

So I’ve really been blessed in terms of my makeup bag blossoming with the most AH-MAZING products and today I thought I’d share my makeup bag contents with you. At the moment Rimmel London is dominating in there but in time all that will change when I find the next big sale [LOL]

I really do love makeup but I always stick to the rule “Less is more” and I never over do it. Apart from carrying my makeup bag everywhere I go, I do my normal makeup routine at home then just pop my makeup bag in my handbag for those “emergency” touch ups when I’m on the go.

Firstly I chose a small yet pretty white aloe earth Thandana bag that’s the perfect size and limits me from carrying my entire makeup collection with me and only focuses on the things that I really need apart from my usual makeup routine products.

•1 – is my Rimmel London Glam`Eyes Mascara. I love this beauty. The mascara wand is thin and comes with a little curve which makes it easy to apply and also curls the lashes perfectly.

•2 – is my Rimmel London Special Eyes, precision eye liner pencil that’s one of my fav in my handbag. Its so easy to apply and what I love most about it, is that its soft and you don’t have to put so much pressure on you eye line while applying it. The removal process is a breeze!

•3 – Tweezer from Just Skin aesthetic clinic. I have to say this tweezer is the most cutest pair of tweezers that I’ve ever seen! Tweezing those unwanted hairs just became a little less painful… NOT!!!

•4 – Clarins Paris , Shine Stopper Powder Compact which is my latest addition in my makeup bag. I don’t regret adding this one bit. This is perfect for touch ups during the day and what makes this compact even more lovable is the fact that its a shine control compact which gives me that natural finish look.

•5 – Rimmel London – Glam`Eyes professional liquid liner. I became a fan of this little wand after I saw Lauren Conrad rocking a stunning winged eyeliner look and totally changing my views that Liquid Eyeliner makes you look like Amy Winehouse [ May her soul R.I.P].

•6 – Rimmel London – Stay Gloss which lasts up to 6 hours but still adds that shine to it. I add this after my red lips has faded during the day. It not only smells like caramel but also leaves your lips looking smooth and feeling all to soft and kissable!

•7 – Tip Top Nails – Complete Chaos, this is something that I love! It goes perfectly with my skin complexion and what’s a bonus is that, sometimes I forget to do my nails and I need something that I can slap on fast and dry in an instant… Well Tip Top does that, I’ve used this polish so many times but the bottle is still full. Tazz♥TipTop

That is what my Makeup bag looks like and I’m just all to happy to share it with you… Shocking how small my makeup bag is compared to my huge handbags…

Tip Top Treats

At first I used to be very “Anti Nail Polish” and I would opt for Nail wraps, as seen in a previous post. I found that nail wraps can be rather pricey and just one wrong move and one nail wrap is spoilt and your set would be “broken”

A while back I discovered a really affordable nail polish brand called Tip Top. Tip Top is one of the cheapest yet quality nail polish brands that I’ve come to love. Last week was the first time I tried nail marbling and let me add… Everybody loved it! My design isn’t perfect YET but it sure did receive a lot of compliments!

Its been 7days later and I’ve worked in water, did house chores and everything else that I could possibly do but yet my nails still looks like it did the first day I applied the polish.

I’m really impressed with this brand! With one set of Nail wraps I can now buy 4 bottles of Tip Top Nail polish which is perfect for me because with 4 bottles of nail polish I can do lots of different designs be it nail marbling, Just one colour or even polka dots.

I joined the Tip Top Nails South Africa facebook page and I’ve learned so much. From nail tutorials to how to take care of my nails and keep it healthy in “Tip Top” shape.

As you might think that Tip Top Nails only produces nail polish, they also have a really wide range of footcare preparations based on the traditions, cultures and wisdom of the far east.

Just another one of my fav Tip Top produced products is definitely the Spa-Valous Massage Candles. One might mistake it for an ordinary candle but this beauty is a multi purpose candle which not only lights up a room, it leaves the most marvelous fragrance and I think the greatest thing about the Spa-Valous candle is that when it melts you can use it as a moisturizering, anti-aging massage oil that not only leaves you smelling fab but also relaxed. This comes in seven fragrances!

I’ve never used any other nail polishes before and I doubt I ever will because Tip Top works for me. I find it so much fun playing around and mixing colours. I have to say that nail art has become apart of my daily outfits and really does jazz it up!

Beautiful Nails = Happy Tazz
And happy Tazz = Tip Top Treats!!!
